The newest model drive from Delta Electronics uses the latest advances in variable speed technology and is physically smaller than its predecessor. The variable speed is vented to cool the internal electronics so some protection against the intrusion of dirt, shavings and woodchips is required when this unit is used in a wood turning environment.
The Variable Speed Drive is housed in a grey fibreglass enclosure 317mm high x 252mm wide x 168mm deep, with four fixing lugs provided and mounted vertically with the vent ports at the top.
The on/off, forward and reversing switch and a variable speed control knob are fitted to a 3 metre flexible pendant, creating more control for the operator.
It comes with two metres of screened cable from the control box to the new 1 1/2HP motor, and a two metre 230V single phase supply lead and plug to connect to the power source.
